Spicy mushrooms with chili and garlic are a delicious dish made to the taste of mushroom lovers that enjoy spicy food. This easy dish is ready in about half an hour and makes a great lunch or dinner.
Ingredients (for 2 servings)
- 220 g champignon mushrooms
- 1 large onion
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 5 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes
- salt to taste
- parsley (to garnish)
Instructions
In a blender or mixer, add 2 tablespoons of oil, the garlic, lemon juice, chili powder, chili flakes and a little water (about 2 tablespoons) and blend them to form a smooth paste.
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan and sweat the onions with some salt until translucent.
Add in the paste prepared before with little water (about 2 tablespoons) and sauté until the raw smell goes off completely (approx. 5 minutes).
Clean the mushrooms and slice them lengthwise, then add them to the pan, mix well until coated evenly in the mixture and cook until the mushrooms soften.
Toss in some cooked pasta or rice if desired and serve the dish garnished with fresh parsley leaves.
