Brighten up your mornings with a healthy, meat-free sandwich cream, which is an excellent alternative to the salami-ham-cheese versions! Homemade mushroom pâté can be served with toast or fresh buns, and can be a perfect choice for breakfast, snack or dinner. At the same time, it can be served on the festive table as a special, tasty and nutritious appetizer during the fasting period.
Ingredients:
- 40 dkg white and brown Champignon mushrooms
- 2 onions
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 3 tablespoons of butter
- parsley, salt, pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- juice of half a lemon
Preparation:
Cut the onion and garlic into small pieces. Melt the butter in a pan, stir the onion and garlic. Clean the mushrooms, then grate them into thin strips and add them to the onions fried in butter. Season with salt and pepper, then wait while stirring continuously until the mushroom strips release juice. Take out the mixture in a glass bowl, add chopped parsley, olive oil and fresh lemon juice. Mix it together and spread it on toast or fresh buns! It can be served with vegetables such as arugula and tomatoes.
